Hand-picked for the Holidays!

Well, its been a very busy fall here at Sage Saks and now the holiday season is upon us! I don't know about you, but fall is my favorite time of year, by far (I said that in my previous post didn't I?)! The ever-changing leaves and cool crisp air puts me in a good mood everyday and inspires me beyond belief! And the transition into the holidays is so seamless...first Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and before you know it, its Christmas, then New Years! It all goes by so fast, that we have to stop and remind ourselves to take it all in.

As someone reminded me yesterday, there are only 28 more shopping days before Christmas....must we count them down?

For me, its I've got 3 more events and one more show/festival before I can take a break! And that is a good thing.....Its all about sewing and getting those custom orders done before the holidays! It makes me feel so good inside knowing that someone is going to receive a Sage Sak for the holidays!

Fall is in the air!

I must say.....this is my favorite time of year! The cool mornings and evenings, the changing leaves, great fall clothes, and fun fall fabrics! We spent all of September getting ready for our fall shows and holiday gifts. This weekend starts off several shows in and around the Atlanta area that Sage Saks will be particiapting in. We have also added a new type of Sage Saks Soiree ~ a birthday party soiree! Whether you want to celebrate your special day with a group of friends or if you have a daughter who wants to do something different this year, a Sage Saks birthday party is just the thing! You and your guests get to choose the fabrics and styles you want and you help make them...then we take the bags back to our studio where we complete them, then within a few days they are ready! The bags pictured above were designed and created by 11 of Lillian's friends for her 8th birthday. The birthday girl picked out the fabrics she thought her friends would like, then they chose the style and fabrics and began making their bags! This weekend....great weather, great festival, Virginia Highlands Summerfest!

Summer is officially here.....Virginia Highlands Summerfest marks the beginning of summer fun in Hotlanta! This is my favorite festival of the year...why, you ask! Well, the weather is usually great, but the vibe of the festival is fun and laid-back. Great bands, great, quality vendors, good food, and cold beverages...what a great combination.

The artist market is Saturday, 10am - 6:30 pm
and Sunday, 11am - 6pm, but bands and eateries go much longer.

Here comes the monogrammed "Margaret's" ~ great Bridesmaids gifts!

Bride-to-be, Erin and her mom designed 9 "Margaret" cosmetic bags for her attendants for her wedding this weekend! She chose all different fabrics to suit their individual personalities and we monogrammed each bag with an inital in simple script. We loved how they turned out and wanted to share them with you!

The "Margaret's are $32 each and can be made in most any fabric. Each bag is lined with vinyl and has a zipper closure. You can always email us at info@sagesaks.com for more information.
